This final event of the Spring 2011 series will incorporate a Silent Auction with Items donated by local/regional businesses, artisans & healing arts practitioners, goods & services, etc… plus featuring visual art & VJ projections, dance/movement theater, live & electronic/acoustic music & poetry/spoken-word performances in support of the annual benefit for Friends of Plum Dragoness Performance Projects!
Featuring performances by:
· ArcheDream for HumanKind- the Blacklight Theater Company, uses archetypal characters that perform allegories, or dreams, to personify vital issues pertaining to our lives!
· Bill-Fieger-is best known as a Composer of Electronic Music releasing CDs under the name Oblivious Solitude and with Stares to Nowhere. Recently he has gone in a more acoustic direction with Mayakara and as a solo artist. He will be exploring the musical form known as raga with his custom built “Lunatar”.
· The Femme-mynistiques-a newly formed collaborative trio of womyn performers versed in dance/theater, music production, vocal, spoken word & MC artistry (Alexis Golden-Lover, Lady Omni & PlumDragoness)!
· Histrionica-a collective mash up of genre-bending music (Electronic/Trip Hop/Dub-step/Experimental), arts, culture, & fashion with no limits to their creativity.
· PlumDragoness & the Elements- the live music, poetry & VJ project featuring Resident Performance Artist Gabrielle de Burke/a.k.a. ”Plum Dragoness” with guest collaborators including instrumentalists/ a.k.a. “The Elements” Larry Connely, Jonathan Esposito, Najashi Harun, Ali Richsrdson & Larry Toft (& surprise guests TBA)!
