Adrim Fakak (sax), and Sirob Ejnaj (double bass): music HERE
Tracy Lisk is a percussionist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms. Lisk’s history as a painter informs the substance of her improvisations which contain references to rhythmic structures while maintaining a fluid, suspended continuity. She has lead percussion ensembles, and regularly tours as a drummer in the US and Europe. She has collaborated with Dave Burrell, William Parker, Gary Hassay, Andrea Pensado (electronics/voice), Mia Zabelka, Maggie Nicols, butoh dancer Ryuzo Fukuhara (JP, SI), among others.
Cornetist Todd Margasak makes sounds that seem to emanate from the jazz tradition or from household appliances and poorly tuned hand tools. A former student of AACM trumpeter Ameen Muhammad and hard bopper Johnny Coles, Margasak appears on recordings on the Cadence, High Two, 482 Music, and Truck Stop labels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt4B2mrOjg8, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H6gBxPsXno

TRIO DENUM (Toma Law/Al Margolis/Irman)
Tom Law: "Tom Law is an improvisor from Saugerties NY who freezes and loops his viola da gamba.”
Al Margolis: Al Margolis is a composer/performer, improvisor, and painter. Since 1984, often under his project name If, Bwana, he has worked in the field of non-commercial, non-popular music and sound. His goal (not always reached) is quietness, guiding an audience into its own stillness and absorption. Extreme quietness forces an audience into its own stillness, which becomes absorption, which can become a nearly unbearable state of tension. (Helen Shaw review of A Doll’s House in New Yorker)
Irman: Irman is an East Coast U.S. Electroacoustic Cello Improvisor. irman.bandcamp.com
