'Refractions' is a Beo String Quartet original production that showcases four unique and exciting works, each of which have a link to light and the transformation of light. Whether it be the appearance or disappearance of light, or looking at music of the past through a lens that bends light, or music that is inspired by work in another art form that used light in its creation, each of the featured works offer a colorful variety of sounds, styles, and sentiments.

Three of the four works on the program were written for Beo and this set of concerts will be their premieres. Additionally, some of the composers will be in attendance.
