Hip-Hop & The Crack Generation: A Film Screening, Open Discussion, and Mixer
5pm-9:30pm
This affair will include a screening of the film "Planet Rock: The Story of Hip-Hop and the Crack Generation", a film that takes a look at the rise of crack cocaine in urban America in the 1980s and it's influence on popular culture, especially in hip-hop music.
Following the film, there will be a group discussion hosted by S.Frosty on topics relative to the film.
DJ John Morrison of Liberation Movie Night will be spinning an eclectic mix preceding the film screening, and during the mixer session following it.
