"Hypocrisy the Anti-Sex Mystery"
A Three Act Play written by Lisa Amos Wilson

Directed by Jonathan Steadman & Elijah Pringle
Stage Managed by Zakiyyah King
"Hypocrisy the Anti Sex Mystery" is a very provocative and interesting play with subject matter that is usually talked about in whispers and under the guise of the forbidden. Intimacy between people who are in relationships should not be shameful but we
humans, especially Americans, love sex but make it a bad thing publicly.
This play is about empowering the voice of women and educating men who may find themselves in dissatisfying relationships with no real means of expressing their displeasure to their partner.
Married people rarely talk about this subject. People in long standing relationships rarely talk about this subject. The church hardly ever talks about this subject and I think it's time that this subject gets a voice.
Even God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. How would they do this without having a satisfying sexual relationship?
I am not promoting promiscuity or irresponsibility with respects to sexual intercourse. We are not supposed to rut like animals. I promote sex between two people who love one another and who desire to be in a long-term commitment; specifically married but that me walking in my faith without judgment. What I am saying is that women should boldly speak up and tell their mate what
pleasures them, if they are not satisfied and to take the shame and stigma away from the mere conversation of sex.
Sex is a beautiful thing that God created and I believe if there was less shame and stigma, especially for a woman, there would be less rape, abuse and degrading of women who truly enjoy intimacy with their mates.
