What does the equinox mean? After the summation .. summer.. of ideas and concepts accumulate, the ideas of that epoch reach a maximum point of light, and all the energies of that cycle begin to perish. Day by day, less light .. less wisdom .. and it’s absence gives way to cold, congealing, and obstruction. Then comes the pivot. The turning point.. the zero sum where light begins to overtake the empty space. The Spring Equinox is the beginning of The New.

Urban Shaman Attack plays American Futurism. We plan on bringing the points of years past into a summation, a zero sum, then driving with a strength of impetus that simply has never happened before. We will get help with that from a local power, sax player Elliott Levin. He’s worked with this spacekraft before, and you can expect big things. We will also feature a special guest, electronic composer Paul Woznicki. He will start the event with his composition, Bertha Suite. Guitarist George Christie will be accompanying Paul on that set.
