Hey! Alex from The Afterverse here! We publish BLACK VANS and other Black and POC/LGBT comics! We are hosting a Draw-In (and a write-in, and a collage-in!) where POC and LGBT folks and allies gather to finish or perhaps start those comics, zines, short stories, novels, movie scripts that we've been working on! In a chill environment, we'll share snacks, watch some cartoons or sci-fi films, listen to some music, and make art and stories!
I've always found that a co-working space was good for my creativity, if this is also you come hang! This will be a good, super safe, queer empowering space to network, share ideas, meet collaborators and possibly even get real time feedback on what you're working on! It's also just a fun hang.
